Living Waters offers sheltered income generating opportunities and skills development
workshops to vulnerable members of the community.
This takes the form of the integrated life skills program run at the Living Waters
Centre, as well as workshops and needs analysis run for specific communities.
Mentorship programs are run for youth-at-risk, supplying not only fundamental life
skills and therapy, but also practical business skills and hands on skills such as
baking, soap making, arts and crafts, gardening and sewing. These young people are
given a week of intensive training, with the ultimate aim of being able to go back
into their community with the skills to manufacture, market and sell their product/skill
to that community, thus empowering the entire community.
