Living Waters offers victims of abuse, unemployed, unskilled or vulnerable members of the community, as well as youth at risk, an opportunity to learn practical and entrepreneurial skills.
The aim of these programs is empower these people with the skills to manufacture, market and sell their product or skill back to the community, with the aim of becoming self sustainable contributing members of the community.
Some of the practical skills development programs have included: arts and crafts, basic computer literacy, sewing, cooking, baking, catering, carpentry and welding.
People wishing to make use of these various programs or wanting to volunteer to assist with running a workshop or program may contact the offices and set up an appointment with the Social Services department.
