Education ~ a solid foundation

As with any form of building, be it physical building or peoples’ lives a good, solid foundation is necessary.  With people, obtaining a good education means laying a good foundation for life. Living Waters assists twenty five children with their schooling each year. This assistance varies from individual to individual, with each child’s needs being assessed and addressed accordingly. Assistance ranges from supplying stationery and book requirements to  full academic bursary.  In some cases, where necessary, aftercare, remedial teaching and counselling is also offered.

Besides their academic needs, the children are also taken on various outings and excursions, these have included; boat rides, the zoo, Thorn Valley Python Park, The Lion Park, The Guild Theatre, the water park and many more.

Living Waters educational program is not limited to school learners, and through partnership with local colleges has assisted vulnerable women with courses in computers, financial administration, hospitality and teaching.
